Daniel Cole, Player Development Coach
Daniel Cole has been a student of the game of golf for the last fifteen years. A four-year member of the Illinois Wesleyan men’s golf team. He was one of six players nationally to be chosen to the Golf Coaches Association of America Division III All-Freshman Team, in addition to being named GCAA All-Central Region and Illinois Wesleyan University freshman of the year. He won the IWU Invitational that year, topping a field of 111 golfers. In addition, Cole tied the then-school record with a final round score of six-under, 65 at the Gordin Collegiate Classic at Delaware Golf Club.
Daniel has extensively studied and practiced the mechanics of golf as a player, but is now incorporating his knowledge into his instruction. Recently, Cole has concentrated his golf education on the speed, motion, and mental aspects within golf. Additionally, Cole has expertise in the following training programs: Mach3 (a new speed training program which on average has increased club head speed by 11.5 miles per hour), Vision54 (aimed to enhance instructors ability to efficiently improve students’ swing and course management), as well as Tour Prep Golf and ROTEXMotion training systems (which both strive to position golfers in optimum physical shape for the sport).
Daniel will run our Player Development Program to help guide the practice of our students through check-ins and support in the Louis Sauer Golf studio. Cole will be offering private/group lessons, as well as, the LSGOLF College Recruiting Service to help connect aspiring collegiate golfers to college coaches through the help of data provided by Trackman Golf simulators. Lastly, he will run our Trackman showcase events that include on-course Trackman data, a SAM Puttlab evaluation, and your own player profile to help build your golf resume.
